Four paragraphs about me.

My name is Jānis, and I am someone who began his freelance career at the age of 35 when I left Latvia for England in 2019 to discover myself, learn a new trade, and gain a fresh perspective on the world around me. Before moving to the UK, I worked on various sales projects and managed a store in Riga called "Bang & Olufsen" for the last two years. I left Latvia with the aim to understand who I am, what I like, what I am good at, and how I can use all these insights to help others achieve their goals.

During my first years in England, I discovered a passion for composition and photography. Later, I realized that it was possible to create a virtual photo studio on my computer, sparking my interest in 3D modeling and animation. To better express my creativity, I learned to use software like Lightroom, Photoshop, Davinci Resolve, and Blender 3D. Throughout my years in England, I thoroughly mastered these programs or engaged in translating books because, in addition to my passion for visual arts, I was also deeply immersed in understanding who I am as a person and what the objective reality around us is.

While I worked a primary job in England and couldn't dedicate myself to photography and Photoshop, my mind was occupied with listening to audiobooks about the evolution and functioning of the human mind. For several years, I have been deeply studying what modern science has to say about human perception of the world and what people tend to ascribe meaning to. This understanding of human psychology, perception of the world, and its true nature helps me create effective graphic designs.

In my search for "what I like and am good at," I also tried my hand at web design and website creation. I built several sites, including a large online store on the Shopify platform and my personal portfolio on the WordPress platform. I have also created logos, banners, flyers, and daily I produce visualizations for social media platforms. However, my greatest passions remain photography, composition, and 3D video, where I see no limit to creativity.
